Dear congregational member/friend of the church:
The Session of the Presbyterian Church of Cloquet met for a special Session meeting on Sunday, March 15th and made the decision to suspend worship and socialization activities for at least the next two weeks. We will be getting our guidance from the state of Minnesota, specifically the Governor’s Office and the Minnesota Department of Health.
Our church office hours will continue and James will post them on the door and our website. Please feel free to call him for updates or questions. If he is busy assisting others or it is after office hours, please leave a message. Please let us know if you have a specific need.
We will continually update our Facebook page and website.
As you know, even if we aren’t worshiping together we still have our bills to pay. Please mail your pledges, as you are able, so that we can continue to pay our staff and pay our bills.
We are hoping to continue to provide for your spiritual needs by posting Lectionary Readings on our website and Facebook that you could read. James and I are also looking at can we provide a brief worship service via Facebook Live and will let you know if we are able to do that.
Please remember to keep yourself safe by washing your hands, maintaining social distance from others if you have to go out (that is 6 feet) and staying home as much as possible. We also ask that you pray for each other, our church, and our community.
Peace in Christ,
James Sheetz, Clerk of Session and Administrative Assistant
